Hi, I’m Joshua Sorensen, a fiction—and occasional criticism—writer living in Naarm (aka. Melbourne), Australia.
My writing has appeared in Kill Your Darlings, Overland Journal, Going Down Swinging, Voiceworks, Archer Magazine, The Suburban Review, and Babyteeth Journal, among others. My fiction was shortlisted for the Stuart and Hadow prize in 2023.
Currently, I am the comms director and a committee member for #LoveOzYA.
I also write a Substack called Real, If True. It’s one part culture blog, one personal blog, all parts loose and fun.
